SYNOPSYS:
On the Beast God Continent, food supplies have drastically plummeted. The continent’s most prestigious priest has declared: “The Beast God is enraged. Only those tribes that offer sacrifices can continue to survive.”
Wolf Tribe: “Listen to that idiot sheep’s fart!”
Before Lin Qiu transmigrated, the original owner of his body had colluded with other beastmen to steal the tribe’s food. He was caught red-handed and placed in solitary confinement.
Every day, Lin Qiu looked at the withered greens and lumps of mushy meat delivered on schedule, feeling so hungry his vision went blurry. Initially, Lin Qiu stayed obediently in the cave, only wanting to be released from confinement.
But once he stepped out of the cave and saw the beastmen reduced to skin and bone—relying on sleep to endure the hunger—he couldn’t bear it.
Lin Qiu led the beastmen to weave nets for fishing, and to take up ranching and farming. Finally, the beastmen of the tribe were able to spend their winter snuggled in caves without worrying about food or drink, sleeping soundly by the fire.
When Lin Qiu’s father came to pick up his cub, he saw Lin Qiu nestled against the young Wolf King’s belly, sleeping with a peaceful expression. In a fit of rage, the father directly transformed into his beast form.
Lin Qiu’s Father: “You promised to help me look after my cub! Is this how you look after him?!”
The Wolf King covered Lin Qiu’s ears, tucked the flushing, sleeping youth deeper into his arms, and looked back with a cold gaze.
This is exactly how I’m looking after him.
