SYNOPSYS:
Ye Tao was a lazy, unskilful salted-fish college student whose only hobby was making clothes for dolls and earning a bit of pocket money on the side. Unfortunately, Heaven didn’t bless him—he transmigrated.
Penniless, knowing nothing about agriculture, and unable to do heavy physical labor, the slave broker looked at him, sighed, and found him a “meal ticket” to rely on.
This meal ticket was slightly younger than Ye Tao and looked decent enough, but he was a once-in-a-century penny-pincher.
Coincidentally, so was Ye Tao.
Living in the city required money for everything—oil, salt, sauce, vinegar—even using the toilet and taking a bath cost money. Ye Tao had no choice but to pick up half of his old trade… making clothes for people.
Before making even a few finished garments, he took on plenty of odds-and-ends jobs. After struggling to save enough money for household registration, his meal ticket refused to let him leave, suddenly pouring out a bag of money in front of him with a clatter.
Ye Tao glared at him: Flexing your wealth?
Chen Chuan lowered his eyes and spoke unexpectedly: “You manage the household, you make the decisions. All my money is yours.”
Ye Tao was shocked and rendered speechless.
Chen Chuan carefully inspected his expression: “Didn’t you say you wanted to open a shop? Don’t…” leave.
Ye Tao: “You actually hid so much secret private money!”
Chen Chuan: “…”
From the very first day Ye Tao arrived at his house, Chen Chuan knew Ye Tao was different from him and would leave sooner or later.
So what? He wanted him to stay.
