That’s a lot. Dan Xingyu looked at the pile of baby bok choy in front of her and smiled happily.

He couldn’t resist showing it off in a trading group:

【God Has No Form: (Picture) (Lush, vibrant baby bok choy).】

【Li Ergou: ??? What am I seeing here?】

【The Sun Rose From The West: Holy shit, I don’t even have a single one—where’d you get those bok choy?】

【I Retreat: Oh, it was Er Shen who posted the picture. Well, never mind then.】

【The Road Ahead: @God Has No Form,  where did Er Shen make his fortune? Do you sell baby bok choy? I’ve been munching on dried meat every day, and I’m getting a heat rash.】

【God Has No Form: I’m not selling them—a friend I made recently gave them to me.】

【God Has No Form: For free.】

【I Retreat: Holy crap! That’s not just a friend—that’s my godfather!】

【Long Day Ahead: What do you mean by “godfather”?   He’s your biological father! May I ask if our daddy is still looking for a son? I’ll do anything!】

【Li Ergou: Which big shot on the leaderboard is it? Er Shen, why don’t you reach out to him and add him to the group?】

【God Has No Form: Don’t even think about it—it’s impossible.】

【I Retreat: Er Shen, it’s not right to keep this all to yourself.】

【God Has No Form: No, keeping it all to myself is really satisfying.】

Although he still hasn’t figured out how he managed to add “I Love Survival Game” as a friend, he’d secretly tried adding him to a group chat, but since it was just the two of them, he couldn’t.

Having finished showing off, he was completely satisfied.

Ignoring the howls and wails in the group chat, he went back to grinding monsters.

Qiyu was looking at the survival panel; there were several entries in the territory module as well.

It had been over two hours since he left his territory.

Several notifications had popped up on the panel one after another:

【Your territory is under attack.】

【The territory crisis has been resolved.】

……

Since the territory module allowed him to monitor the territory’s status, and the longest battle had ended in just four minutes, Qiyu wasn’t particularly worried. If a powerful enemy arrived, he could always tear up a teleportation scroll and rush back to help.

Over the course of a little more than two hours, the territory was attacked three times.   Qiyu’s first thought was: Thank goodness I’m out of here.

He hadn’t collected the screaming lily of the valley yet—there was such a vast expanse of them, and once that swarm of little creatures started screaming, they wouldn’t stop until the invading mutated creatures had completely turned into a white light.

Qiyu would rather fight the alchemy puppet legion all over again than endure that torment one more time. A few cool raindrops hit his face.

At first, Qiyu thought they were droplets falling from tree leaves, until more and more water droplets began to fall one after another. It was raining.

The emerald bee swarm that had been following Qiyu scattered and quickly vanished into the woods.

However, Qiyu’s extended spiritual sense could “see” that they hadn’t gone far—they had simply hidden beneath tree leaves to shelter from the rain.

Qiyu expanded the range of his spiritual sense and soon found a place for himself to shelter from the rain.

It was a very, very large tree; its trunk was at least as thick as several people could encircle with their arms, and many of its sturdy brown roots were exposed above the ground. The gap formed a natural tree hollow.

It looked very safe.

Qiyu bent down and sat inside.

As the rain gradually grew heavier, Qiyu quickly realized the advantage of the tree hollow—the roots twisted and coiled, and the protruding parts were just high enough above the ground to keep the rainwater out.

The feeling of being in a world of his own gave Qiyu a strange sense of reassurance—just like that first night when he arrived at the survival game, lying on the wooden bed in the wooden cabin.

The rain dripping from above formed a curtain of water. Listening to the gentle patter of the rain, Qiyu felt an inexplicable wave of drowsiness wash over him. But now was no time for sleep.

Qiyu sent out a thread of mental energy to scan his surroundings, then closed his eyes and began channeling his magic.

The water element was particularly active today.

In Qiyu’s field of vision, what he saw at first glance was no longer a sea of green dots; a small patch of aqua-blue specks was striving to take up more space.

Unfortunately, the forest seemed to be the domain of the green specks.

Countless green specks were drawn toward Qiyu, converging on him.

At some point, the emerald bees hidden among tree leaves had already returned to Qiyu’s side.

The Survival Panel quietly logged a few entries:

【Player has successfully completed training: Magic +50, Magic +10, Magic +10……】

【Player has successfully completed training: Mental Power +1, Mental Power +0.5……】

Closing his eyes to meditate took only an instant.

When he opened his eyes again, Qiyu felt as though every cell in his body was sighing with comfort.

He noticed a patch of pale green grass growing on the ground beside him—hadn’t it been there before? The natural elements around him were unusually dense.

Qiyu looked pensive as he opened his personal panel. A long string of records.

He then looked at his personal information section.

The original class,【Mage】, has now become 【Level 2 Mage】.

Game.

Age: 19

Class: Level 2 Mage.

Attack: 23

Defense: 16

Agility: 25

Mana: 107

HP: 291

His Attack, Defense, and Agility stats all increased by 5 points, and his Mental increased by 1.

His initial mental was 130, which rose to 230, and with the bonus from the three-piece jade equipment set, it reached 291.

Qiyu opened the regional leaderboard.

His ranking on the Combat Power Leaderboard jumped from 37th to 11th place.

The regional leaderboard was already a hot topic, and “I Love Survival Game” was one of the most famous usernames in Zone 01. His sudden jump in the rankings naturally sparked another round of discussion.

In addition to the Combat Power Leaderboard, his ranking on the Wealth Leaderboard was also constantly fluctuating.

However, the Wealth Leaderboard was always the most volatile of the three, with rankings constantly shifting and rotating.

Players have also noticed that there’s still too much room for manipulation on this leaderboard—especially for those guilds, where a single big deal could propel them into the top ten. Unless someone else suddenly makes a huge jump in the rankings or even snatches the number one spot from “My Fate is Determined By Me, Not The Heavens,” the buzz around this leaderboard isn’t as intense as it is for the other two.

【Cockroach Taste Is So Weird: The top players have caught up on the Combat Power Leaderboard, too. I’d really love to know what these big shots do all day.】

【Roadside Drifter: Guys, is there any chance that a gaming big shot might suddenly drop onto the Combat Power Rankings one day—just like they did on the Shelter Rankings—and take the top spot in one fell swoop?】

【I Am Domineering: Some people are daydreaming again. You don’t just climb the Combat Power Rankings by getting lucky.】

Although that’s true, the members of the Temple of Gods were actually feeling a bit nervous. They’d been humiliated too badly last time.

It wasn’t until they’d waited a long time and saw that “I Love Survival Game” hadn’t moved up any further that they finally breathed a huge sigh of relief.

Qiyu didn’t glance at the chat channel at all; he was only concerned with his own ranking.

He glanced at the time and saw it was already past 3:00 p.m., and the rain still hadn’t stopped.

He didn’t eat lunch, but he was not hungry at all—his fullness, stamina, and health are all at full. Looks like he can still eat while training.

However, Qiyu had absolutely no intention of giving up a delicious meal just because of that.

He pulled a wrap out of his backpack. His high-level backpack had a food preservation feature, so even after being stored for a few hours, the wrap was still warm. That emerald crystal was definitely worth the money.

After happily devouring the delicious wrap, Qiyu got ready to head home. He crawled out of the tree hollow, and cool raindrops hit his body.

Before leaving, Qiyu cast a blessing spell on the great tree and thanked it earnestly: “Thank you for your shelter.”

The tree remained silent, offering no response. Qiyu walked back, a green crystal cloud drifting around him.

He suddenly realized something: as of today, it seemed he hadn’t found a single treasure chest.

He expanded the range of his mental detection and barely managed to find a wooden treasure chest—its location was extremely tricky; it was actually hidden underground, and he had to dig up some dirt to see it.

Had it not been for his mental scan, he would never have found it.

He returned to the shelter at 5:00 p.m.

Qiyu was soaked through by the rain, strands of hair clinging to his face.

Since he was already soaked anyway, he wasn’t in a hurry to go inside; he decided to check on his plants first. Fortunately, the plants hadn’t been affected by the rain and were all thriving.

The mutated wind blade grass has matured; it’s now about waist-high to Qiyu, with long, slender leaves that are extremely sharp—even a careless touch could result in a cut.

The mist star flowers have also grown to knee height.

The emerald bees that had returned with Qiyu were extremely busy, buzzing around the territory in a circle as if to familiarize themselves with their new home.

After circling the plants once and lingering a bit longer near the mist star flowers, they began to hover continuously above that prime farmland.

Below lay the plot where the gold apple saplings were growing.

Sure enough, he hadn’t guessed wrong—the swarm of emerald bees was likely drawn to him because of the scent of the gold apple sapling on his body. Qiyu planted the scent-tracing grass and honey crystal flowers he’d brought back, then cast a blessing spell on them.

Although the gold apple sapling would likely “thrive” even without the blessing magic, Qiyu believed that, as members of the territory, they should have whatever the elders get, so they should have it too.

A fair lord must not show favoritism.

Next, he went to collect the loot left behind by the mutated creatures that had invaded the territory today.

【Defeated a Level 2 Mutant, the frost ant, and obtained 1 Wooden Chest.】

【Defeated a Level 3 Mutant Frost Ant, obtained 1 brass chest.】

【Defeat a Level 2 blade mantis to obtain 1 long knife and 1 emerald crystal.】

He didn’t expect the harvest from the territory to be so good.

Qiyu checked: of the two energy towers, one had 97 energy remaining and the other 99; of the 1,000 units of wood for repairing durability, 990 remained.

The alchemy puppet showed no wear and tear.

For a moment, Qiyu had the dangerous thought of opening the door to lure in mutated creatures.

Perhaps the reason supply crates from exploration have become scarcer—and loot can only be obtained by killing mutated creatures—is that this survival game encourages players to hunt them down?

It was almost dark, so Qiyu hurriedly harvested the mature lily-of-the-valley, leaving only one plant behind. Unexpectedly, another surprise awaited him:

【Obtained screaming lily of the valley seeds ×200.】

Huh?

Seeds actually dropped?

Qiyu looked at the sunflowers in the field. Wait, the bright sunflowers did not drop seeds before, right?

And the delicious baby bok choy in his backpack hadn’t left any seeds either.

Qiyu was puzzled.

Unfortunately, the survival game wouldn’t answer his questions.

Duo Ju seemed very knowledgeable, but he only came once a month—and even then, only randomly.

Qiyu planned to ask Civil Engineering Brother and God Has No Form later—what if the Earth people knew the answer?

Back at the shelter, Qiyu suddenly shivered.

He didn’t actually feel cold, but he went to the bathroom anyway and took a nice, hot shower.

After getting out, he sent a private message to Civil Engineering Brother.

【I Love Survival Game: I’ve obtained the screaming lily of the valley—should I send it to you now?】

Then he messaged God Has No Form:

【I Love Survival Game: Do you know which plants drop items and which ones don’t?】

【Your friend “I Love Survival Game” has sent you a gift.】

It was a delicate, soft lily of the valley.
