Clearly, the secret “resource zone” feature had ignited many players’ curiosity and enthusiasm for the survival game world. Qiyu opened the chat window with God Has No Form.

【God Has No Form: In the resource zone, I heard some rumors about the Star Forest.】 

The messages were sent almost simultaneously.  Both of them were taken aback for a moment, then burst into laughter.

【God Has No Form: What a coincidence!】

【Love Survival Games: I ran into some warriors and asked them specifically. What about you—did you ask someone specifically, too?】

Dan Xingyu：……

Even though he knew his friend’s personality well, he was still taken aback by such blunt honesty.

How can someone say something like that so brazenly? It’s almost embarrassing just to hear it!

【God Has No Form:…】

Qiyu took this as an admission. He said happily:

【I’ve got a gift for you,  but I’m not quite sure if it’ll work. Hold on a sec—I’ll let my other friends know I’m okay.】

God has No Form: Got it. 

His first priority is to let everyone know he’s okay. 

【God Has No Form: Okay, okay. I’ll have something for you later, too.】

Qiyu closed the chat window.

01 Survival Squad.

The three people in the group were chatting. Civil Engineering Brother, who had not obtained the “Resource Zone” card, and Tranquility Yields Transcendence were both incredibly curious about this secret “Resource Zone” and were bombarding the group chat with questions, though they didn’t dare to ask him about it.

【Tranquility Yields Transcendence: Congratulations on your safe return.】

They had just gleaned some information about the resource zone from “Dare Not Open” and from conversations among players in the regional channel.

The resource zone is teeming with people—not just players, but also what appear to be natives of this world. This news left many people completely stunned.

Many people still harbor the fantasy that this world might just be a giant virtual game—that as long as they strive to survive and make it to the end, the reward for beating the game might just be a return to Earth.

But after this trip to the resource zone, they realized they were wrong.

It turned out this world wasn’t limited to the Star Forest and the areas inhabited by other players.

It is a vast world.

It is home to different races and civilizations, each governed by its own set of rules.

It was as if they had been pulled into a “real world.”

Many were ecstatic, treating the survival game as a grand adventure in another world and fantasizing about gradually getting to know this new realm. 

Others began to despair, realizing they might never return home.

【Dare Not Open My Eyes: I got a red resource zone card. The resource zone it drops into is similar to the Star Forest. It’s huge. There are people there, and if you gather enough, you can craft potions from magical plants. I also ran into a huge spider and cowered for ages, too scared to move.】

To be honest, Qiyu felt that whether it was the Gareth siblings or Leslie and the others he’d met in Gold Hole City, they all seemed more human than he did.

He posted the information he’d gotten from the alchemy puppet in the group chat—maybe everyone could use it later.

Qiyu tapped open the last chat tab.

It indicated that he, Need A Little Money to Save Me, was starting to become special in the eyes of the Gaming Big Shot!

This thigh—he was finally getting a tighter and tighter grip on it!

He happily bought the full brocade flame feather set. Qiyu sent him a copy of the resource zone information as well.

“Need A Little Money To Save Me” sent a long, rambling message. He was complaining about the alchemy puppet’s exorbitant demands; there was no way he could afford 5,000 gold coins, let alone that many beast crystals.

He entered the Common Resource Zone, and shortly after, found himself thrust into a baffling trial. 

He was assigned a task out of the blue, then handed a blueprint and told to analyze it. After that, a ghostly image of a strange old man called him an idiot. 

After the scolding, he was told to keep going.

And so it went: analyze, put it into practice, get scolded, analyze again, put it into practice, and get scolded again.

Then, out of the blue, he received an alchemist’s legacy.

Sneakily showing the big shot his future value—that’s the real reason he spouted all that nonsense.

Qiyu began checking his backpack. Actually, he was looking at the magic crystals inside.

The number of magic crystals automatically appeared in his backpack, but he had already checked them at least twenty times since putting them there. With a single thought, he took the magic crystals out of his backpack.

Clatter—

A pleasant sound rang out, and emerald-green crystals appeared out of thin air like a stream, spreading across the floor. 

Qiyu sat amidst the pile of crystals, squinting his eyes in bliss. 

During yesterday’s trip to the resource zone, he had obtained a total of 11,900 Level 1 Magic Crystals, 1,700 Level 2 Magic Crystals, 699 Level 3 Magic Crystals, and 100Level 4 Magic Crystals, and  28 Level 5 Magic Crystals.

All the Level 3 and higher crystals were Wood-element magic crystals, and over 90 percent came from a single resource mine—the one Qiyu was lying in, unwilling to get up from. 

Qiyu held a Level 5 Magic Crystal in the palm of his hand. Unlike its siblings, which were simply sparkling and beautiful, the pure Wood element had already solidified into a tangible form, enveloping it like a wisp of soft mist.

Qiyu sensed its rich vitality. If this crystal were made into an accessory and worn by an ordinary person, over time it should gradually improve their health and extend their lifespan.

A fine piece.

Calculating the value of the magic crystals, Qiyu felt as if he could see countless gold coins with wings flying toward him. He happily spent some time with the magic crystals before reluctantly stowing them away in his backpack. 

【I Love Survival Game: There’s a gift, but I’m not sure if I can use it.】 He loaded the communication orb with an energy bead and gave it to God Has No Form.

Then, with anticipation, he called out, “God Has No Form.”

Dan Xingyu looked at the item information on the survival panel. 

【Communication Orb: A star product from Dawson Commerce, reliable quality.】

There was a description, but he could already guess a thing or two based on the little ball’s name. His heart began to pound.

【God Has No Form: No.】

It seems this won’t work.

Qiyu imbued it with his own energy to complete the binding.

Then, he saw the blue orb shimmering.

A light, cheerful voice rang in his ear: “God Has No Form, can you hear me?” 

Dan Xingyu froze.

The Survival Game version… of a phone call? 

Was that just now the voice of I Love Survival Game? 

Hearing the reply, Qiyu was a little disappointed:

“Still not working? Mia said the effect would be much stronger after binding, but it seems it still doesn’t work in the Survival Game.”
