FRAHB Chapter 51

Divine Sacrifice

Fan Zhou’s cheeks turned a little red from being kissed. Seeing Song Li lowering his little head and busily working nonstop, he pushed Feng Xun into the cave. “What kind of wedding do you want to give me?”

“I want to imitate Xiong Wu and Lu Xin’s wedding!”

Feng Xun pulled him to sit on the bed and spoke with great excitement.

The first time Xiong Wu told him about it, he had already remembered it in his heart. He had been thinking it over ever since.

“Oh? How did Xiong Wu and Lu Xin hold their wedding?” Fan Zhou asked curiously.

“Xiong Wu secretly found five nests of wild bees. On the day of the wedding, he brought out that honey, and Lu Xin was so happy he cried.”

“He also made five bone necklaces out of bones. These five bone necklaces were all different in size. When worn around the neck, they nested inside one another in layers—very unique. Lu Xin liked them a lot and wore them every day for a while.”

Feng Xun gestured the shape of the necklace, full of awe and admiration—majestic and beautiful!

“He also hunted several fat prey and invited beastmen he was close with to eat meat together.”

“Now, whenever the beastmen of the Giant Bear Tribe talk about their wedding, they all drool with envy.”

Fan Zhou: “……”

Well, Xiong Wu was certainly quite thoughtful.

Beastmen loved eating meat, and Lu Xin liked beautiful things. Xiong Wu had taken care of both Lu Xin and the other beastmen. No wonder this person wanted to imitate him.

But he himself wasn’t greedy for food!

“Then you want to hunt more prey for me, find more honey?” he asked.

“Yes. I also want to prepare lots of fresh flowers. I’ll use meat to get everyone to help collect wildflowers. Although there aren’t many wildflowers now, there are still some. I want to cover the whole venue with wildflowers.”

“Beast God gave you wisdom and divine blessings. No matter what I bring out, you won’t be surprised. So I thought about preparing wildflowers, lots and lots of wildflowers, ones you’ll never forget.”

Feng Xun, who was still very excited earlier, gradually sounded uncertain as he spoke. Using wildflowers seemed kind of underwhelming.

But hunting was what he was best at. Oh no—speed too. Should he hold the rabbit at the wedding and run at high speed so he could experience the thrill of extreme velocity? ……

He held Fan Zhou’s hand, somewhat nervous as he asked, “Would you like a wedding like that?”

He didn’t want to be the only one happy… He hoped the rabbit would be happy too.

Fan Zhou saw his eyes go from bright and shining to cautious and careful, and couldn’t help but laugh: “I would like it.”

What he had brought out was already the best he had.

“Really?” Feng Xun still found it a bit hard to believe.

“Of course. If the ground’s covered in flowers, that would be so beautiful! I’ll definitely remember it for the rest of my life.” A wedding full of flowers—back in his previous life, that would have been considered very romantic too.

“That’s good. After the Divine Sacrifice, I’ll go hunting and use meat to trade for wildflowers.” Feng Xun saw that he spoke with certainty and started smiling again.

“Alright.” Fan Zhou nodded.

Since this person was putting in so much effort, he couldn’t slack off either. He’d make a bone ring.

But today there was no time to make rings. In the morning, he had to lead people to stack the sacrificial altar. These days had been so busy he’d practically gone dizzy, and he hadn’t even built the altar yet.

The altar of the Holy Temple was made by the Beast God. The Beast God had moved a huge stone to the foot of Twin Mountains, then carved it into the shape of an altar. Fan Zhou couldn’t compare to that—after all, the Beast God could move a natural giant stone.

But earthen bricks were good too—they were a symbol of wisdom.

The Shell Tribe, Kelp Tribe, and Treehouse Tribe all really liked earthen bricks. They also wanted to live in pretty houses like those in the Axe Tribe. He hadn’t forbidden the skill from spreading, so these three tribes had been learning how to make earthen bricks and how to build houses these past few days.

What beastmen liked—that was the best!

The location of the altar was chosen right next to the guest hall. With all the beastmen working together, in less than half a day, they erected an altar ten meters tall and about the size of half a basketball court.

To beastmen, this kind of altar could be called towering and majestic, solemn and refined. The beastmen walked around the altar in circles, liking it more the more they looked.

While the beastmen gathered around the altar, Fan Zhou and Feng Xun returned to the cave to start preparing hotpot base ingredients. Hotpot Festival was Hotpot Festival—there had to be enough hotpot base!

He called Lu Xin, Hou Yan, Lu Hua, and the others to help. With these people around, he only needed to toss in the seasonings; the rest didn’t require him to lift a hand.

At dusk, the hunting parties that had gone out returned.

Some had gained good results, some not as satisfactory, but every beastman had a smile on their face—they were all looking forward to tomorrow.

Tomorrow arrived quickly. Early in the morning, Feng Xun had already gone hunting. He had once been the Temple’s Substitute Enforcer and Swordbearer. Now that the new Temple had been built and a new Enforcer had yet to be chosen, today’s hunting duty naturally fell to him.

He soon returned with plump prey, and at that time, the sky had only just begun to brighten.

All the beastmen had already gathered below the sacrificial altar, including  Xiang Erand Ying Ao. The two of them looked at the grand altar, feeling both fear and despair in their hearts.

During this time, the two of them had been made to do all sorts of heavy and dirty labor—for example, carrying manure.

Fan Zhou had said that for crops to grow well, they must be fertilized. So the Waterfall Tribe and the Axe Tribe had specially constructed toilets.

The task of cleaning the toilets had fallen to these two.

Moreover, the manure from the horned beasts and mud beasts at the livestock farm was also cleaned by the two of them.

This had made the two furious. Who were they? One was the Beast King’s younger brother, the other was a rare flying beastman. In the past, Ying Ao wouldn’t even bother to speak when he saw Bao Cheng, the chieftain of the Treehouse Tribe!

But now the two of them were forced to carry manure every day, doing the dirtiest, most exhausting work—they truly wanted to smash their heads into a wall and die!

However, they were still hoping that the High Priest and the Beast King would come to rescue them—and while they were at it, destroy the Waterfall Tribe!

But… with just the Waterfall Tribe’s strength, could the Temple really destroy them… The altar before their eyes was neatly stacked, beautiful and elegant, not at all inferior to the Temple’s altar.

The wisdom that Tu Zhou possessed didn’t seem to be any less than the High Priest’s.

Could the two of them really return to the Temple…

Fan Zhou didn’t know what   Xiang Er and Ying Ao were thinking. Of course, even if he had known, he wouldn’t have cared.

He walked slowly up the altar via the stairs at the side, holding in his hands a large basket. Inside were grass seeds, glutinous rice, soybeans, sesame, and hard nuts.

Feng Xun followed behind him, carrying a large horned beast and a mud beast on his shoulder.

After placing these offerings on the table of the altar, he turned around with a solemn expression and looked down at the beastmen gathered below.

On the faces of the beastmen were reverence, anticipation, and excitement. They stared at him without blinking.

He cleared his throat and then began to speak: “The first Divine Sacrifice of the new Temple officially begins!”

As soon as his words fell, Feng Xun removed the ox horn hanging from his waist and brought it to his lips to blow.

A deep, resonant, and loud horn sound immediately echoed across the altar.

This ox horn had been made by Fan Zhou from a horn of a large horned beast. He didn’t know the proper method for making a horn, but after many experiments, the sound it produced was quite decent.

The beastmen below had never heard a sound like this before and couldn’t help but hold their breath and stare dumbly at Feng Xun atop the altar.

Feng Xun blew for a full minute. After the horn sound ceased, not a single sound was heard from below.

Fan Zhou’s face showed a satisfied expression. Not bad—it seemed he had managed to establish authority.

He turned around, faced the offering table, lowered his head, and respectfully began to speak: “Beast God above, today Tu Zhou leads the Waterfall, Axe, Giant Bear, Shell, and Kelp Tribes to present to you the plumpest prey and the fullest grains, and prays that in the coming year you will bless the five tribes and the beastman continent with abundant prey and abundant grain.”

“Please enjoy the offerings!”

After he finished speaking, he also held his breath, wanting to see whether the Beast God would show up to slap his face.

One minute.

Two minutes.

Five minutes.

There was no one in front of him. The prey and grains on the altar table also showed no signs of being moved.

No one appeared.

No one responded.

He let out a quiet breath, then turned around to look at the beastmen below the altar. He called out loudly: “The Beast God has silently accepted my request. Next year, everyone will definitely have abundant prey and abundant grain.”

With these words, he slowly opened his arms. Two water whips appeared in his hands. The water whips slowly extended toward the beastmen below and then gradually expanded into a water curtain, enveloping all the beastmen.

“Stretch out your hands and receive the holy water,” he instructed the beastmen below.

The stunned beastmen quickly raised their hands.

The water curtain shattered instantly like ice blocks, falling from above their heads.

They were startled and hurriedly reached out to catch the falling shards.

The beastmen who caught the shards were very excited and immediately put them into their mouths. The shards melted into water, flowing down their throats and into their bodies, washing away their fatigue and lifting their spirits.

The beastmen who had drunk the sweet water joyfully chatted with those beside them. As expected of the High Priest—such a miraculous scene, they would remember it for the rest of their lives!

Fan Zhou stood on the altar and, seeing that every single beastman had received a shard, could not help but breathe a sigh of relief. Thankfully, it had not fallen apart.

This idea had come to him as a sudden inspiration just last night. For that, he had even practiced several times. Judging from the result, the effect was excellent.

Seeing the smiles on the beastmen’s faces, he clapped his hands, drawing everyone’s attention to himself: “This is a miracle bestowed by the Beast God. Every beastman who obeys the Beast God’s Ten Commandments has the right to receive it.”

“Beastmen who are earnestly undergoing labor reform,” he paused and looked toward the back of the crowd at  Xiang Er, Ying Ao, and Bao Su, “can also enjoy it today.”

“Although the High Priest and Beast King of the old Temple have betrayed the Beast God, the Beast God is merciful. He will not forsake the beastman continent because of the faults of a few beastmen.”

“Nor will he deny the chance for redemption. As long as one is willing to repent, they can receive his protection.”

The beastmen below the altar were stunned at these words, and then nodded firmly. That’s right—if one sincerely corrected their mistakes after doing wrong, they could still receive the Beast God’s forgiveness.

Who didn’t make mistakes?

They themselves had previously doubted this Tu Zhou, the High Priest.

And those three beastmen—Bao Su,   Xiang Er, and Ying Ao—had extremely complicated expressions on their faces. They truly had not expected that even the sweet water would include them…

Fan Zhou’s words continued: “And now that you’ve drunk the holy water today, you should abide by the Ten Commandments and never violate them.”

“Also, when you encounter beastmen who are ill, do not drive them away. You must point them toward the new Temple. As long as they have not violated the Beast God’s Ten Commandments, they may come to seek me with confidence, and I will do my utmost to treat them.”

“Don’t worry about not having rare items to exchange for Beast Spirit Flowers. After recovering, you can stay and work for the new Temple—hunt, plant grass seeds, raise livestock. In short, they are all simple tasks you can do.”

“I will make sure that each and every one of you can obtain a Beast Spirit Flower.”

These words stunned the beastmen below the altar.

Every single one could receive a Beast Spirit Flower?

Did they hear that right?

“Remember: anyone who comes to the new Temple because of a strange illness will definitely be able to receive a Beast Spirit Flower. You must spread this word. You must tell more beastmen.”

“The new Temple is the light and hope of the beastmen.”

“Praise the Beast God!”

As he finished speaking, Fan Zhou raised his hand and shouted loudly.

“Praise the Beast God!”

Feng Xun beside him immediately followed.

The beastmen below the altar, having recovered their senses, couldn’t help but join in shouting: “Praise the Beast God! Praise the Beast God! Praise the Beast God!”

These four words they shouted with sincerity, and the more they shouted, the louder and happier they became. Some beastmen had even started dancing with joy.

Even if beastmen were open-hearted and simple-minded, they still worried whether they might also suddenly contract a strange illness. The illness had no warning and could strike anyone—it was terrifying.

But from now on, they no longer needed to worry!

They no longer had to be anxious about strange illnesses—this Divine Sacrifice had truly not been in vain!

Fan Zhou stood on the altar, smiling as he looked at the many beastmen. Once their voices subsided, he spoke again: “Actually, ordinary beastmen can also cultivate Beast Spirit Flowers.”

He publicly explained the method for cultivating Beast Spirit Flowers and instructed them to spread this method far and wide—the farther, the better.

In fact, the beastmen of several tribes already knew this method. He now formally brought it up just so they would take it seriously and work to spread it.

For the vast majority of beastmen, the Waterfall Tribe was far too remote. Once they fell ill, distant help would be of no use.

Once the beastmen shouted together that they remembered it, he announced the third matter: “Compared to stoneware, pottery is lighter and more beautiful. To celebrate the establishment of the new Temple, I’ve decided to make public the method of making pottery.”

“Every beastman can follow me to learn how to make pottery!”

As soon as these words were spoken, the scene fell into complete silence once again.

The beastmen were stunned. They widened their eyes in disbelief—every single beastman could learn to make pottery?

“High Priest, is what you said true?” Hou Yan asked in astonishment.

“It’s true,” Fan Zhou nodded with a smile. “Pottery is heavy and fragile, difficult to transport. If you were to trade for pottery and bring it back to your tribe, it would surely get damaged on the road. I can’t bear for your efforts to be in vain, so I’ve decided to share the method of pottery-making.”

It was not easy for beastmen to collect things from nature, and it was even more dangerous for the Seaweed Tribe and the Shell Tribe to fish things out of the ocean. If the pottery they had traded for broke on the way back to their tribes, they would be devastated.

Moreover, he didn’t expect to get rich from selling pottery. He held the Beast Spirit Flower, and now that he had solidified his identity as the High Priest, if he wanted to trade for anything, he could easily get it.

So, after discussing with Feng Xun, he decided to make the pottery-making method public.

“Thank you, High Priest!” Quan Zhi couldn’t help shouting. His voice trembled slightly—Heavens, it was pottery! Precious pottery! And every beastman could learn it!

“Praise the High Priest!” he shouted at the top of his lungs.

This loud shout awakened the other shocked beastmen. They immediately joined in, yelling: “Praise the High Priest! Praise the High Priest!”

They were even more excited than when Fan Zhou had promised to treat beastmen afflicted with strange illnesses. After all, not every beastman would get sick—but every beastman wanted to use pottery!

They had originally planned to find Fan Zhou after the Divine Sacrifice to trade for some pottery, but they hadn’t expected that now they could learn for free!

Pottery didn’t just have many advantages—it was also a symbol of status!

Even on the Central Continent, only a very small number of beastmen had access to pottery, but now, the beastmen of the Wild Continent—every one of them could use it!

Praise the High Priest!

Xiang Er and Ying Ao stood dumbfounded as they watched the beastmen descend into a frenzy. Among all the beastmen present, none knew better than the two of them just how valuable pottery was—well, Feng Xun knew too.

But that didn’t matter.

What mattered was—had Tu Zhou gone crazy?

They understood clearly—this wasn’t something the Beast God had commanded to be shared. This was something Tu Zhou had decided to reveal on his own. Was he an idiot?

Holding the knowledge of pottery—how many good things could that be traded for?

How many beastmen would bow and smile at them just to get a piece?

But now Tu Zhou wanted to teach every beastman how to make it…

He really had gone crazy!

“All right, all right.”

Fan Zhou clapped his hands, signaling for the excited beastmen to quiet down. They’d been gathered here since early morning and hadn’t even eaten yet.

“The Divine Sacrifice ends here. The first Hotpot Festival begins! Everyone go pluck the hair and drain the blood from the prey, wash the wild vegetables, set up the stone pots, and get ready to eat hotpot!”

As soon as these words fell, cheers erupted once more—Hotpot Festival!

The beastmen howled with excitement, completely forgetting about learning pottery. They rushed back home to fetch their stone pots.

The stone stoves had already been built the day before, right next to the altar. Now all they had to do was set the stone pots on top, then wait for the High Priest to pour in the hotpot base and add the sweet water.

Fan Zhou and Feng Xun carried ceramic jars, handing out base ingredients, sweet water, and sesame paste to each group.

Stone pots heated up slowly, and cooking while eating could drive the beastmen crazy with impatience, so every tribe had prepared several large pots. The more pots, the more base ingredients were needed.

Fortunately, Fan Zhou had anticipated this. The amount of hotpot base he had prepared was more than enough—there would be leftovers, but definitely not a shortage.

Once distribution was done, the two of them returned to their own large ceramic pot.

Niu Shu and Shi Bao were tending the fire. Song Li and Xiong Jing had gone to the stream to prepare the horned beast and the wild vegetables.

Very soon, steam was rising from all the large pots, and the aroma began to spread. The beastmen crowded around the stone pots, their faces full of longing. Following Fan Zhou’s instructions, they began adding meat and vegetables to the boiling broth.

They waited and waited, and finally the meat and vegetables were cooked. The beastmen couldn’t wait—they rushed to scoop the food into wooden bowls with chopsticks, stirred it a bit so the meat and wild greens were coated in sesame paste, and then—without even waiting for the steam to dissipate—shoveled it eagerly into their mouths.

The rich, intense flavor immediately conquered them.

Especially the Shell Tribe and Seaweed Tribe. Their way of eating meat was still stuck in the old days—grilling it with the fur still on, producing a gamey taste and tough texture.

Now, tasting something so refined and delicious for the first time, they were so happy they nearly cried. It was too good!

Actually, before Fan Zhou decided to hold the Hotpot Festival, the beastmen from those two tribes had been quite disappointed. On the way to the Waterfall Tribe, the Giant Bear Tribe had boasted so highly about Fan Zhou’s cooking, claiming it was unmatched on heaven or earth, that they had been drooling with anticipation.

But since too many beastmen had come this time, Fan Zhou hadn’t cooked a big pot of rice, nor had he used small ceramic bowls to invite them to taste his food.

They had thought they wouldn’t get to taste Fan Zhou’s cooking—but unexpectedly, Fan Zhou had come up with such a great idea as the Hotpot Festival. Now, all the beastmen had tasted the delicacies!

Praise the High Priest!

Wuwuwu, it was too delicious. After the Divine Sacrifice ended, they were going to ask the High Priest how exactly the hotpot base was made—they were willing to trade seafood for it!

Xiang Er and Ying Ao sat together. In front of them was a small pot, filled with rich and fragrant base, but there was no meat—only wild vegetables.

And they had sesame paste in their bowls as well.

They smelled the aroma of meat from the other big pots, chewing their fragrant wild vegetables, their moods even more complicated.

During this time, Xiang Er and Ying Ao had been eating wild vegetables, tree bark, and grass roots. Now, they were eating exquisite food that even the Holy Temple didn’t have—they should have been happy.

But thinking of the gap between the Holy Temple and the Waterfall Tribe, they couldn’t bring themselves to be joyful.

The Holy Temple probably wouldn’t be able to wipe out the Waterfall Tribe.

Most likely, the two of them would have to keep hauling dung forever…

There was only despair.

This hotpot meal lasted from morning until noon. Anyway, Fan Zhou was willing to keep refilling their large pots with sweet water. Though the more it was refilled, the lighter the flavor became, there was still sesame paste.

With sesame paste coating it, even wild vegetables were delicious!

Only after they finished all the sesame paste Fan Zhou had prepared and drank the broth in their pots did the beastmen finally rise in satisfaction.

Cradling their round, stuffed bellies, they had only one thought in their minds: contentment.

They loved this Hotpot Festival—they wanted to attend the Divine Sacrifice again next year!

Today was truly a happy day!

The beastmen all returned to their homes to sleep. Fan Zhou and Feng Xun also returned to their cave. Fan Zhou took a hard nut, split it in two, and handed half to Feng Xun, letting him get rid of the grease in his mouth as well.

Actually, both he and Feng Xun had already eaten their fill. Though the hotpot was delicious, it was no longer something rare for the two of them. But leaving early wouldn’t be right, so they had stayed until the end.

After gnawing on the nut, Fan Zhou stretched lazily in satisfaction. The outcome of today’s Divine Sacrifice was about what he had imagined—perfect!

He flopped onto the bed, preparing to nap for a bit.

Feng Xun lay down beside him. Seeing the shine of moisture on his lips, he couldn’t help leaning in for a kiss.

The lazy little rabbit looked even softer and more kissable than usual.

Fan Zhou obediently opened his mouth and exchanged a sweet kiss with him. After the kiss, Fan Zhou’s drowsiness was gone. The handsome face of the beauty right before him was tinged with a light blush, and in those clear eyes, there was only him, sparkling brightly. He couldn’t help but curl his lips in a smile, his heart completely full.

After admiring him for a while, he took the initiative to move closer. In front of such beauty, when warm and full, one naturally desired intimacy.

However, under the bright light of day, he hadn’t planned to do anything inappropriate for children—he just wanted to get a little closer to this person.

Previously, he had always felt that in front of this man, he held a sense of superiority from being above. But reality slapped him—his sense of superiority was gone. Just as he could influence this man, this man could also control his joy, anger, sorrow, and happiness.

He had truly, genuinely fallen for him.

When the heart liked, naturally the body wanted to be close.

Fan Zhou’s initiative made Feng Xun’s heart full too. He kept feeling that these past two days, the little rabbit’s gaze toward him had changed.

After this kiss ended, the two rested their foreheads together, both their cheeks redder than before, their breathing a little quicker.

Seeing Fan Zhou staring intently at him, Feng Xun’s heart began to beat faster. He felt like he couldn’t read the rabbit’s gaze again, but strangely, this time—he wasn’t flustered.

He truly wasn’t flustered at all.

He cupped Fan Zhou’s slightly warm cheeks in his large hands and instinctively asked, “Do you like me?”

“I like you,” Fan Zhou answered without hesitation, still staring straight at him.

That single “like” was like molten lava dripping into Feng Xun’s heart, making his entire body’s blood boil.

“What kind of like?”

“The kind between partners. The kind where I admit defeat.”

“Admit defeat?” Feng Xun’s eyes widened slightly, not understanding.

“Idiot.” Fan Zhou sighed, leaned in, and kissed his lips. “You’ll understand later.”

If it had been in the past, hearing Fan Zhou say something like this would definitely have left Feng Xun feeling frustrated. But now, he simply hugged the person in his arms tighter, no longer feeling that previous bitterness of being far away from the rabbit.

He wasn’t far from the rabbit anymore!

The two of them played their kissing game for quite a while. Before things got out of hand, Fan Zhou called it to a stop.

As a popular High Priest, someone might come looking for him at any moment.

Fan Zhou took a few deep breaths and took the initiative to shift the subject: “When do you plan to go hunting to trade for the flowers?”

“Tomorrow.” Feng Xun was also staring at the cave ceiling, taking deep breaths.

But deep breathing was completely useless. The rabbit beside him was just too tempting. Even if he deliberately tried to think of something else, the blood in his body still grew hotter and hotter. He let out a long breath. “Or should I go hunting now?”

“So urgent?”

“I want to hunt more, trade for more flowers. Not only so that you’ll never forget, but so that all the other beastmen won’t forget either.”

Even Xiong Wu was able to make the other beastmen remember his and Lu Xin’s wedding—he definitely couldn’t lose to Xiong Wu!

“Alright.”

Perfect. While this guy wasn’t around, he could hurry and make a pair of bone rings.

“Then let me kiss you again.”

Feng Xun flipped over, grabbed his shoulders and kissed him heavily. Then, before he could react, he jumped off the bed, transformed into his beast form, and ran off.

Fan Zhou: “……”

Aiya.

Touching his mouth that had been bitten and was a little sore, he couldn’t help but laugh.

After lying around a little longer, soft chatter rose from below the cave—beastmen were quietly discussing. They had finished resting, and had come to learn how to make pottery!

But had the High Priest woken up?

They didn’t dare call out to Fan Zhou.

Fan Zhou lazed around for a bit longer before finally heading down to teach.

At the same time, he announced that everyone could trade wildflowers for meat.

The beastmen were delighted after hearing this. Wow, the High Priest and Feng Xun were going to hold a wedding. Then they definitely had to stay for the wedding before leaving!

As for the wildflowers, they didn’t need to trade them for meat. The High Priest had done so much for them, and they didn’t even know how to repay him.

It just so happened that they’d been hunting near the Waterfall Tribe lately, and they knew where wildflowers grew. So they immediately split up some people to go search. They wanted to give the High Priest a memorable wedding too!

The beastmen were full of enthusiasm and made the decision on their own. Fan Zhou thought for a moment and agreed.

Since that was the case, then the game Feng Xun hunted would serve as the main dishes for the wedding banquet.

Feng Xun ran for three days and hunted over a hundred animals. During those three days, the beastmen took turns learning pottery from Fan Zhou. When they weren’t learning, they went searching for wildflowers.

This season didn’t have as many wildflowers as spring or summer. If they wanted to cover the entire venue with flowers, they had to search thoroughly.

The wedding would be held near the sacrificial platform. The altar table was moved away, and the platform became the ceremony stage.

The beastmen planted the wildflowers they’d dug up around the ceremony stage. Fan Zhou sprinkled some spiritual spring water on them, which didn’t affect the flowers’ growth at all.

Once the area around the sacrificial platform was filled with blooming flowers, the auspicious day for the wedding had arrived.

At that moment, Xiong Ye, Hu Sheng, and the others finally returned.
